A Sodus police officer has been arraigned on grand larceny charges after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Lowe’s store in Henrietta.

Officer Cory Anderson, a seven-year veteran of the Sodus Police Department, is accused of stealing $2,347.17 worth of goods, including doors, faucets, and door trim, and returning them for store credit.

The thefts reportedly occurred on multiple occasions between May 1 and June 24. Anderson has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the case.
