No Man’s Sky Confirmed To Support 8K Resolution On PS5 Pro (www.psu.com)

is one of many games that are taking advantage of the PS5 Pro, with developer Hello Games confirming that the space exploration title is able to run at 8K resolution on Sony’s new console.

As reported by Press Start, the No Man’s Sky PS5 Pro support allows you to run the game at 4K/60 FPS or 8K/30 FPS. The increase in resolution means a drop in frame rate although the game also now supports various other improvements, including enhanced lighting effects, ultra quality reflections, high quality ambient occlusion and more.

Recently, Hello Games’ Martin Griffiths had nothing but praise for Sony’s new high-end machine, stating it ‘absolutely rocks.’ The new console is out tomorrow, and will retail for $699.99/£699.99.

No Man’s Sky was released for PS4 and PC in August 2016, and despite a less-than-stellar start that had players criticise it for failing to deliver on expectations, Hello Games massively turned things around over the next few years thanks to some robust post-launch support.
