Inter are looking around for the right replacement for the injured Tajon Buchanan and have identified three potential candidates, reports detail.
The 25-year-old Canadian full back will be out of action for the next three to four months after suffering a broken tibia in a training session at the Copa America, keeping him sidelined late November at the earliest.
Inter have been fairly quiet in the early stages of the summer transfer window, only picking up Josep Martinez, Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski, but are expected to heat up soon as they look to maintain the gap over their rivals in Serie A.
Three Inter options
Page 13 of today’s Corriere dello Sport details how Oaktree have given clear search parameters to Inter in their quest to pick up a new left wing back, ruling out any players over 30, closing the door to Mario Hermoso and Ricardo Rodriguez.
The Nerazzurri have identified three candidates, starting with Zenit St Petersburg owned Robert Renan. The 20-year-old Brazilian is an exciting and growing talent, but will cost at least €20m, making him an expensive option.
Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior is another idea, but it may be hard to agree a deal with the Gunners. Genoa’s Johan Vásquez is also on the shortlist, but it may take some convincing to pull off a transfer.
