Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Will Feature The Original Game’s Licensed Music Tracks (www.psu.com)

is a remaster of the classic Dead Rising title that in many ways looks like a remake. The visual fidelity and improvements made are sold-short by being called a remaster, in many ways it seems like players are getting more than Capcom is letting on with this remaster.

Something that’s proven once again with a report from VG247, which has revealed that the coming ‘remaster’ will feature the original game’s licensed music tracks.

The licensed songs and audio that helped make Dead Rising such a classic back in the day are returning with this new version, making it even more of a complete package.

“Licensed music is returning,” a spokesperson for Capcom told VG247. A simple but notable confirmation that all Dead Rising fans can rejoice over.

While the licensed music is coming back, the original voice actor for protagonist Frank West was not asked to reprise the role.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will arrive on PS5 this coming September 2024.
