Welcome back to yet another week of my daily deals. I’m here to hook you up with not only all that cool and current stuff in the headline, but also some sly discounts on older games worth hording for a rainy day. Oh, and the odd set of Lego, too—because it’s awesome and I may have some sort of Peter Pan syndrome going on.
In retro news, I’m celebrating the 19th birthday of The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, a criminally underloved and under-remastered beast I simply adored. Built by Radical Entertainment—the crew who was/would be responsible for other open-world extravaganzas like The Simpsons Hit & Run, Scarface, and the Prototype duology—UD was a power fantasy beyond compare in 2005. I’ve particularly fond memories of sprinting up buildings, hoiking tanks at helis, and wrapping cars around my fists to create knuckle dusters (!!!). This was truly off-the-chain stuff that rivalled even Treyarch’s venerable Spider-Man 2 (2004).

Full and complete disclosure: you can also get this even cheaper on the eShop for $22.48. But I know some of you are fellow collectors who value physical copies above else.

Baldur’s Gate 3

Not often discounted, this one. Why? Because Larian doesn’t really need to, I guess. It’s that good a game and it’s that replayable an experience. Come see what the fuss is all about or continue to be patient. The choice is yours.

Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra

The Ultra may (usually) be more expensive, but it’s hard not to see how effectively it delivers extra worth. Where the Elite Series 2 controller was caught lacking, the Turtle Beach excels, loading up on advanced sensors and an excellent design.
