Fiorentina have confirmed the arrival of Juventus striker Moise Kean, who is expected to conduct his medical on Monday before officially becoming a new Viola player.

Kean arrived in Tuscany on Sunday afternoon, and was pictured by club photographers at the club’s Viola Park training ground.

He also met with new Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino, who joined from Monza on an initial two-year contract running until 2026 at the beginning of June.

The 24-year-old is joining on a permanent deal, worth an initial €13m up front, plus up to €5m in bonuses. €2m of those add-ons are understood to be easily achievable, while the remaining €3m is linked to more ambitious targets.

The former Everton and PSG striker is set to become Fiorentina’s first signing of the 2024-25 campaign, but the club remain interested in a number of other players in a number of different positions.

A key area to upgrade though, is in attack, despite Kean’s arrival. Reports in Italy indicate that the club’s ideal signing would be Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson, but Fiorentina face stiff competition from Inter and a number of clubs in the Premier League.
