Gas prices in New York increased to an average of $3.055 per gallon for regular fuel, up slightly from $3.060 last week, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
This marks the second consecutive weekly rise, though prices are down one cent from last month.
Over the past year, New York gas prices ranged from $3.05 in December to a high of $3.64 in May. Current state prices are 0.6% higher than the national average of $3.04 per gallon.
