The Ontario County Chamber of Commerce will join the Town of Richmond/Honeoye in celebrating the Honeoye Art Walk and Sidewalk Projects with a ribbon-cutting event on Saturday, September 7, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will take place outside the Philippe Faraut Gallery at 8732 Main Street.
Local elected officials and the public are invited to attend the event, which will be followed by a stroll along Main Street to view the newly installed art and a kiosk at the Veterans Memorial. The celebration will conclude with refreshments provided by Mill Creek Café at the gazebo, courtesy of sponsor MRB Group.
The Art Walk, featuring 17 stops that showcase the work of local artists like Philippe Faraut and Jeannette Klute, was funded by Ontario County, the American Rescue Plan, Arts, Culture and Recreation Grant, and the Town of Richmond. The Hamlet Sidewalk Project was funded through a NYS SAM grant from Senator Samra Brouk’s office and the Town of Richmond.
