The Watkins Glen School Board is set to convene Sept. 30 to determine how it will fill a seat left vacant by the resignation of board member Jessica Bravo. Her departure follows a personal decision to step down from her role.
Board President Keith Caslin acknowledged Bravo’s contributions in a message to the community, expressing appreciation for her four years of service. “We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition,” Caslin said, adding that updates on the process will be shared with residents.
The board aims to move quickly in finding a replacement, with discussions expected to center on how to proceed with either a special appointment or election.
