That means no matter where you’re playing, you’ll be able to pick up with all your in-game progress on a separate platform, should you choose to do so.
It’s great that players will finally be able to take their accounts from one platform to the next. For live service games like Dead By Daylight, having this option is great for giving players as many options as possible as to where they might want to jump into a game.
For example you might’ve started playing Dead By Daylight on PS5 but you’ve just built a brand-spanking new PC and want to give it a go there. Now, as of next Monday instead of starting entirely fresh on PC you’ll be able to take that PS5 account, any DLC’s you’ve purchased, cosmetics – everything, onto PC.
The only snag comes for anyone who has been playing on Nintendo Switch. If you’ve purchased DLC or have premium currency tied to your account on Switch, those won’t pass over to other platforms.
Everything else however works across all platforms. You can check out a quick chart Behavior Interactive put together here.
To enable cross-progression, you’ll need to create a Behavior Interactive account, which you can do at the link here.
