Former Juventus winger Massimo Mauro explains Nicolò Fagioli’s lack of playing time and insists the Bianconeri have just ‘one vital player.’
Juventus are expected to sell Italian midfielder Fagioli in the January transfer window, as the 23-year-old has been struggling with playing time under Thiago Motta.
According to Gazzetta, the Serie A giants
“The fact that Nicolò gets less playing time is neither his fault nor Thuram’s merit, as he’s getting more and more space in Motta’s midfield,” Mauro told Gazzetta, as quoted by TMW.
Ex-winger says Juventus have just one ‘vital’ player
“It’s a technical decision when a coach leaves a fit player on the pitch. Nobody is a vital player at Juventus except one, Bremer.”
The latter is recovering from a cruciate ligament injury and is not expected to play again this season.
Juan Cabal has suffered the same injury, so Juventus will sign at least one defender in the January transfer window.
