MSI brought a number of
It’s not uncommon for big tech brands to bring concept products to major events. These help showcase the brand’s latest advancements in its segment. Sometimes, creativity and “coolness” predominate over technological advancement. That seems to be the case with the MSI Mag Coreliquid A13 concept, a product that combines a CPU cooler and a built-in turntable inside your PC.
MSI Mag Coreliquid A13 CPU cooler concept showcased at CES
The MSI Mag Coreliquid A13 concept is designed especially for transparent desktop setups. The built-in turntable serves as a “showcase” where you can place anything and have it slowly spin. It can be a cool way to show off collectibles you’re proud of, or you can simply add any item you feel would elevate the aesthetics of your desktop setup. MSI showed off the concept in action by placing a figurine of Lucky, the brand’s official mascot, on top of the turntable.
Of course, it’s not all about aesthetics, as the product integrates a CPU cooler. The cooler is based on an existing product from the company: the Mag Coreliquid A15 360. So, in theory, it should work just fine as a commercial product. There’s even an offset CPU mount that helps improve the performance of Intel chips like the Intel Core Ultra 200S.
MSI does not plan to bring this to the commercial market
Sadly, MSI confirmed that it has no intentions of bringing the Mag Coreliquid A13 concept to the commercial market. That said, it wouldn’t be the first time a company has changed its mind about something after seeing the public’s response. So, if there is enough interest, perhaps MSI will release this product—or something similar—in the near future.
