Yankees OF Juan Soto leaves game with left forearm discomfort after rain delay

New York Yankees fans are holding their breath.

After a 56-minute rain delay on Thursday night vs. the Minnesota Twins, outfielder Juan Soto was nowhere to be found in right field or the dugout.

Shortly after, the Yankees announced that Soto left the game with left forearm discomfort.

Alex Verdugo took over in left field, Aaron Judge moved to right field, and Trent Grisham stayed in center field.

Manager Aaron Boone will provide more of an update when the game ends.
